Greetings my Friend!
How are you today? It has been almost a month since I wrote you. Have you achieved something significant today which made you closer to your dream lifestyle? What did you do today to achieve your goal? Last month, I talked about breaking our goals into smaller pieces which we can do in a daily basis. Smaller pieces look insignificant but we know we can do. We will not be intimidated by the big lifestyle that we wish to achieve.
“Limit yourself to fewer goals, and you’ll achieve more.”
– Leo Bautista , The Power of Less
I have numerous goals in life and one of it is achieving a lifestyle that is different from most people. Last week, I had a soulful moment where I sat down and envisioned the lifestyle that I wanted to achieve. I wrote it down in google docs and listed the life that I want. An example of my dream life is like this:
I will have a tea and a healing garden. Drink tea made from my tea garden. Enjoy the view while writing in the afternoon sun and while listening to my dogs playing nearby. My book is making rounds in the internet and I just earned the best seller title. I will not worry about finances because I have enough passive income, thus I can afford not to work from 9am to 5pm. xxx
It is important to envision in detail
the kind of life you wanted to
achieve. What activities are your
doing in your dream lifestyle?
Looking at my dream lifestyle is like looking at the fading sunset. The sky is filled with glowing amber with few blues and purples that extends in the unknown. The sun is so far that I could not touch it and could only watch it sink into the ocean while I stare at its beauty. Currently, I have a few pots of plants and have no passive income. I have to go to the office and work and earn. I have not written a novel or book worthy of a best seller title. So how did I break down that dream so that i can get closer to it everyday?
I broke it down into smaller details. An example of the breakdown are:
Plant 3 cuttings daily. Acquire one beneficial plant weekly. Write one article daily for your book. xxx
This steps are achievable. We have a plant store in our city that sells cheap plants. I will get one every week to start my garden. Most of my current plants can be propagated by cutting, so I can just get three stems and plant it in another pot. I am currently writing a new book – A 30 Days Challenge: Learn something new every day. I wrote my Day 1 and will continue working with it to make a new book.
Friend, what did you do today to achieve your goal?
