Less is more, you already have what you have. You do not have to chase anything else. I always remind myself that I have what I need. I have to remind myself because I do not want to keep on buying things which are not necessary in my life. I do not want to buy things which will just add clutter to my life. Although, I admit, I sometimes buy redundant things I usually stop myself when I already noticed how I keep on buying things which I know I cannot use.
Less is more, Less stress and more happiness. The biggest distraction today is consumerism, we are buying so many things and most of them we do not need. We just buy them because the society tells us to do it. when I look at something beautiful in the store, I usually remind myself if “DO I NEED IT? WHERE WILL I USE IT?” and most of the time I will leave it in its shelf.
We love to buy clothes, shoes, and many more, but do we need it? Do we use everything we buy? We don’t. That is reality, we just keep on buying but we do not use it. That is reality. And I want to change that reality. I want to buy what I need and what I can use.
I do not like spending money for the rich – the advertisers and company owners who keep on telling us that we need something . We already have what we need but we fail to see it because we are bombarded by all the advertisement we see everywhere. People telling us that we should buy their products.
The next time you want to buy something, ask yourself:
- Do I need it? Do I seriously need it?
- Will I use it more than once?
- Is the cost worth it?
If your answer is NO to these questions, you do not need it.
