Divine Grace Suite Review – Stay away from it
I am surprised that there is no review about this place because there are many students who are living here. During our bar exams I stayed here for almost two months so I can comment about how bad this place is. This place is very expensive yet the facilities are very out of date. Nothing is provided in their rooms except for cabinets and bed steads, no foam, gastoves, or anything like that. We paid P19,000 (City services/ utilities not included) for a bare room, we even bought our own light bulb because they will charge us if we ask for additional light bulb. Their air conditioner unit is really old and terrible and they will charge you an additional P 1000 for their old unit. Their aircon is not energy efficient prompting us to pay P4, 500 for 1 month electricity. The landlady is very kuripot you cannot negotiate with her. In fact, we paid our electricity for the first month yet we received a disconnecting notice and our electricity was cut off for one day because the staff in that Divine Grace did not pay the bills. They also turn off the elevator so they can save electricity and will pretend that it is not working because it is malfunctioning. What a joke!
If you are looking for a place to stay, never go to Divine Grace Suite because it is very expensive and nothing is provided. I recommend Kapatiran located somewhere in Paredes St., they have trees and it is a lot cheaper than our unit. Another pretty place is the one in Miguilin St., laon laan.
Note: If you want some place to relax, go to DAKASI (Daptitan), they have nice milk teas – especially Jasmine milk tea.
